Frequently Asked Questions

1. I’m trying to log in for Cylinder Assessments and my credentials don’t work. What’s going on?

Cylinder Training Services is currently undergoing major renovations this year, including a full rebuild of the mobile and web apps.

  • Phase 1: New app launch (Live on Google Play NOW, expected on iOS App Store any day now).

  • Phase 2: Data migration from the old app to the new one. (Currently in development).

The new app will require you to create a new account. When using the new app, please use your original login credentials (email, username, and password) when creating your account so your data transfers correctly. As we are transitioning from the Legacy app to the New app, some users’ data may not synchronize automatically, but will update as the data migration continues.

Note: As of October 1, 2025, the app is available on mobile/tablet. A desktop version is planned soon.

2. I created a new account — where are my old inspections?

As we are transitioning from the Legacy app to the New app, some users’ data may not synchronize automatically, but will update as the data migration continues. The new app will require you to create a new account. When using the new app, please use your original login credentials (email, username, and password) when creating your account so your data transfers correctly.

We’re a small team working hard to enhance your inspection experience — everything will be back in full motion soon!

3. I’m currently an instructor with PSI, SDI, etc. How do I become an instructor with Cylinder Training Services?

We value the work of PSI, SDI, and other organizations. Our crossover program will focus on:

  • Teaching and facilitating our new program

  • Training on inspection tools (new and existing)

  • Providing resources for Cylindex instructors and students

By completing the C.A.T. renewal training, you will qualify as a current Certified Cylinder Assessment Technician.

4. How do I become an instructor?

We’re finalizing updates to the Cylinder Assessment Technician Course and developing a modern instructor program.

These changes will deliver improved training resources and support. Once launched, new instructors will be welcomed into the updated system.
